Cat splitFile.zip.001 splitFile.zip.002 mergedFile.zip after that i could unzip the mergedFile.zip with the usual unzip command. If you dont have cat on osx then you have to put those two files together, just put the bytes of the second file at the end of the first. It should work with more than 2 files, too. Hope this helps. - Download HjSplit. HjSplit is a file splitting program for Windows XP, Vista, 2000, NT, 95, 98, ME. HJSplit is able to split files of any type and any size as well as merge it back.
- This software doesn't need to be install. Just run it.
- Select Join. Then at Input File column, browse for the video.
- Leave the output file as it will be filled up automatically.
- Then click Start. When it is done, a video file will appear in the same directory where you place the .001 file.

Overview
This is a tutorial that explains and shows how to combine those multi-part files back into a DAZIP that are greater than 300MB. I used to be intimidated by trying to figure this out and passed by some great mods due to me thinking they were too complicated to install.
This is how to do it for v1.42 but it works the same for any version.7-zip -Link
Step one
Download all the parts of the mod to one folder. In the example I am using, it is only a 2 part download and I created the folder 'combine test' to put them in.
Step two
After both files (or however many the mod is split into) are downloaded and in your temp folder you created, right click on the first part and select 'extract here' as shown in screen shot 1.

It will look like this once the first part is extracted out of the zip file SS2:
Step three
Repeat that as many times as there are parts:SS3 and SS4
Step four
Open up your 7-Zip file manager and navigate to the folder you just extracted the multipart files. (the ones that end in .001, .002, ect. if needed)Right click on the file that ends in .001 as that is part one and choose 'combine'. This doesn't mean right click on the .001 file where you unzipped it. You have to separately open up your 7-Zip file manager found by clicking Windows start, all programs, 7-Zip, 7-Zip file manager :SS5 and SS6

Close out your 7-zip file manager and you will see that the DAZIP is in your original temp folder and is ready to install:
